Dieppe, N.B., June 12, 2026 – On Thursday, June 11, at the UNIplex, Expansion Dieppe celebrated the excellence, innovation and commitment of the local business community during the 24th edition of the Expansion Dieppe Banquet, held under the theme “Our businesses. Our pride!”

Bringing together nearly 320 people, the evening was marked by a strong sense of collective pride in the businesses shaping Dieppe’s economic landscape. The Banquet provided an opportunity to recognize their contributions, celebrate their achievements, and showcase the diversity and strength of the local entrepreneurial community.

Four businesses were honoured during the evening:

Business Excellence Award: Canadian Tire Dieppe

Service Business Excellence Award: Branco Management

Emerging Business Award: Medispine

My Choice Award: CAVOK Brewing Co.

The Business Excellence Award was presented to Canadian Tire Dieppe, an iconic business deeply rooted in the community since 1976. The company stood out for its longevity, adaptability, and ongoing commitment to innovation, particularly through the major modernization completed in 2025 to enhance the customer experience.

Service Business Excellence Award was presented to Branco Management, a leader in demolition, environmental remediation and hazardous materials management in Atlantic Canada. The company is recognized for the quality, rigour and reliability of its services, as well as for its contribution to complex and essential projects that support the development of our communities.

The Emerging Business Award was presented to Medispine, a young Dieppe-based company distinguished by its integrated and innovative approach to health care. Through its cutting-edge specialized services and a mission focused on education, prevention and empowerment, Medispine embodies an ambitious and visionary new generation of entrepreneurs.

The My Choice Award, based on votes cast by the public, was presented to CAVOK Brewing Co., a business that has set itself apart through a welcoming, modern customer experience that is deeply rooted in its community. By diversifying its offerings and evolving its business model, CAVOK has established itself as a dynamic company that evolves with the times.

The evening was hosted by Izabelle Ouellet. Attendees also heard from André Roy, the 2024 recipient in the Service Business of the Year category, who shared a heartfelt and inspiring message about perseverance, entrepreneurial creativity, and the importance of fully embracing what makes us unique.

From the VIP reception to the post-banquet gathering, every moment was designed to highlight the finalists and offer them meaningful opportunities for visibility among partners and key stakeholders.
