Dieppe, NB – February 4, 2026 – Expansion Dieppe officially opens nominations for the awards to be presented at its 2026 Annual Banquet, taking place on June 11 at the UNIplex in Dieppe. This flagship event celebrates local entrepreneurship and provides a unique platform to recognize businesses that shine in Dieppe.

Nominations are open now and will remain so until March 6, 2026. Finalists will be selected by a jury of local business experts.

About the Expansion Dieppe Banquet

Expansion Dieppe’s mission is to work closely with entrepreneurs, developers, and strategic partners to foster a diversified economy that ensures sustainable growth in Dieppe. To support this dynamic, it is essential to recognize the exceptional contribution of businesses and entrepreneurs to Dieppe’s economic development.

Under the theme “Our Businesses. Our Pride!”, Expansion Dieppe presents its Annual Banquet, a unifying event for the city’s business community where awards are presented to deserving companies.

Awards presented at the event include: the Business Excellence Award, the Service Excellence Award, the Emerging Business Award, and the People’s Choice Award, selected by public vote. Nominations are submitted by peers within Dieppe’s business community.

Originally known as the Dieppe Entrepreneurs Banquet, the event was created in 2003. In 2019, it was renamed the Expansion Dieppe Banquet while continuing to celebrate Dieppe entrepreneurship under the slogan “Our Businesses. Our Pride!”. In 2022, the event’s 20th anniversary was celebrated under a large tent at Place 1604. Since 2023, the banquet has been held at the UNIplex, Dieppe’s premier facility, capable of hosting a large number of guests.
